Fashion Show – TICKETS on Sales NOW
The Annual Fashion Show is next week on Thursday 26th of April.
Tickets for this event are on sale everyday at school at 1.30 and 2.30

The completetion date for the new school building is April 10th. Due to this 5th and 6th classes will be moving in to this building on Monday 16th April, on return from the Easter Break. Details of this information can be found on the menu or by clicking here.
Furthermore, in order to demolish the prefabs and resurface the playgrounds the builders will have to put new hoarding in place. This will restrict access to the school in the mornings and evenings. New areas have been assigned for each class to line up to in the morning.
 
As space is limited especially during this final phase we appeal for your continued support and co-operation.

Just a reminder that the PTA Fashion Show is taking place on Thursday 26th of April. Tickets will be on sale on from Monday 16th April when we are back to school after the Easter Break.
 

Cyberbullying Talk

Cyber bullying is an ever-increasing and worrying trend of the Internet and mobile phone era. It is important to highlight and raise awareness of the consequences of this trend.
There will be a cyberbullying talk for parents on Wednesday 25th April at 8pm in GP Hall. The talk to be given by Psychotherapist and Child Psychologist Clare Crowley,
 

Dogs Trust Visit

Trainer Fiona and Jake the dog from Dogs Trust visited Junior Infants on Wednesday. Dogs Trust is Ireland’s largest dog welfare charity. The Dogs Trust education team offer free workshops to primary schools in with the focus on responsible dog ownership, and how to be safe around dogs through curriculum linked workshops. The children also got the opportunity to meet Jake the education dog!

 

Family Fun Run

The family fun run was a great success this year.With the weather holding the turn out was high and parents and pupils, past and present walked, jogged, ran and sprinted the distance around the Phoenix Park.
    Well done to Aoife O Reilly who finished fastest in a time of 13 minutes. Zumba fitness were on hand to give a class to children after the run. Also,  personal trainers John and Ellie from Summerfield Heath provided demonstrations which the children really loved. 
    Each child was awarded a goodie bag and medal on finishing the run. (Any children who missed out on medals should receive one in the coming week). Thanks to Nora for the wonderful photographs which really capture the fun and excitement of the day.
